Managing Director (CEO)
You drive Maloc's overall strategy, structure its growth and lead the company toward its ambition of becoming the European benchmark for premium vehicle rental.
Paris, France-10 years minimum, including 5 in management-On-site (frequent travel)-80-120K EUR + equity
Your missions
- Define and execute Maloc's growth strategy (France then Europe)
- Structure the organisation: hiring, processes, company culture
- Lead fundraising (Seed / Series A) and investor relations
- Manage the P&L, budgets and performance metrics (GMV, CAC, LTV, retention)
- Develop strategic partnerships (manufacturers, insurers, fleets)
- Represent Maloc with the media, investors and institutional partners
- Oversee the product, tech, marketing and operations teams
- Ensure legal and regulatory compliance (GDPR, consumer law)
Profile we are looking for
- 10+ years of professional experience including 5+ in an executive role (CEO, COO, MD)
- Proven experience launching or scaling a marketplace or SaaS platform
- Track record in fundraising (at least one successful seed round)
- Excellent understanding of marketplace and SaaS business models
- Natural leadership, ability to recruit and rally a top-level team
- Strategic vision combined with operational execution
- Fluency in French and English (German is a plus for DACH expansion)
- Strong network in the startup, VC or automotive ecosystem
Nice to have
- Experience in the automotive, mobility or luxury sector
- Knowledge of the regulatory challenges of vehicle rental
- International experience (multi-country expansion)
- Technical background (product/tech understanding)
- Experience in restructuring or company turnaround
